This year’s Wine Committee Dinner will take place at Talia in Port Chester, recently named Best New Restaurant 2026 by Westchester Magazine.
Chef Ian Vest is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. After graduating, Ian joined DANIEL, Daniel Boulud’s three-Michelin-starred restaurant in New York City, where he honed his craft under Executive Chef Jean-François Bruel and Chef de Cuisine Eddy LeRoux. At the age of 30, Ian was named Executive Chef of Boulud’s DBGB Kitchen & Bar on Manhattan’s Lower East Side.
Before joining Talia, Chef Vest was Executive Chef at Back 40 Kitchen in Greenwich, where he was honored as “Most Innovative Chef” at the Greenwich Wine & Food Festival. In 2017, Food & Wine Magazine named Back 40 Kitchen the top farm-to-table restaurant in Connecticut.
As in previous years, our Wine Committee will be pulling some special bottles from our cellar to pair with Chef Vest’s classic French-inspired dishes.
This event is for members and potential candidates only. We hope you will join us as we welcome and introduce this year’s potential candidates and enjoy what promises to be a wonderful evening of food, wine, and camaraderie.
