We are very excited to announce this year’s Candidates’ Dinner, which will be held at the fantastic restaurant L’Ostal in Darien. Widely regarded as one of the top French restaurants in Fairfield County, L’Ostal was recently awarded Best Restaurant of the Year in Fairfield County by CraziesAwards.
The restaurant is led by Chef Jared Sippel, who has honed his craft at several of the world’s most celebrated kitchens, including L’Oustau de Baumanière in Provence, Quince in San Francisco, and Chef’s Table at Brooklyn Fare in New York City.
Chef Sippel, together with our Dinner Committee and Wine Committee, are working closely to create an exceptional menu and wine pairing for the evening.
As this is a new venue for us—and a more intimate one, with only 32 seats—reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
We hope you will join us as we screen this year’s potential Candidates.

Remember that the Commanderie d’Amerique and the Sous-Commanderie of Fairfield County strongly suggest that you all use liveried transportation to attend the event.
