It was wonderful to see so many of you at the Wine Committee Dinner earlier this month.
Our next event is our beloved La Paulée de Meursault, which this year will be held at the Greenwich Country Club. Our Dinner Committee is working closely with General Manager Keith Armstrong to create a festive four-course lunch.
This event celebrates the final day of Les Trois Glorieuses—the most important weekend in the Burgundian calendar. Les Trois Glorieuses perfectly captures the conviviality, community, and camaraderie that define Burgundy’s culture, its people, and its wines. Of the three events, the Paulée de Meursault stands out as the most joyous and unbridled celebration of wine appreciation—a pure expression of shared joy among friends and strangers alike.
As in previous years, the Paulée is an event where the Confrérie provides the reception wines, while each member and guest brings their own bottle of Meursault and a red Burgundy of their choice. It is a day to share our wines and our passion with others, in the true Burgundian spirit!
